Our Vision, Mission & Values

What We Believe. Why We Do It.

At CRuNCH, we believe food is power.

The power to fuel our bodies, lift our minds, bring people together and build healthier, happier futures - especially for young people.

But today, too many kids are growing up without the knowledge, confidence or opportunity to cook real food. That’s where we come in.

Our Vision

A future where every young person in the UK can cook five real, healthy meals from scratch before they leave home - and understands how to fuel their body and mind for life.

Our Mission

To improve the long-term physical and mental health and wellbeing of 11–18-year-olds, through increasing their knowledge of nutrition and teaching them practical cookery skills which will stay with them for life.

Our Values

At CRuNCH, our values shape everything we do — from how we teach, to how we work with schools, communities, and partners. We believe in making real, lasting impact by keeping things simple, safe, inclusive and fun. These values guide our mission to build a healthier, happier future for young people.

1

Keep it Real

We teach real food, real skills, and real-life solutions - no fads, no fluff.

2

Make it Fun

Food should be joyful. We bring energy, humour and creativity into everything we do.

3

Be Inclusive

We respect all cultures, diets and backgrounds. Everyone’s invited to the table.

4

Act Boldly

We’re here to shake things up. The public health crisis needs radical action - and we’re not afraid to take it.

5

Build Together

We believe in the power of partnership - with schools, families, local groups, and businesses. Together, we can spark real change.

Hands on, sleeves up, let's cook!
