An Exciting Start to 2026...

We wish we could bottle up the energy in our sessions and let you experience it for yourself!

We’re already two-thirds of the way through our Term 3 Cook5 with CRuNCH sessions and seeing a tangible improvement in students’ cooking skills and confidence. We’re now gearing up for our fifth and final session this term: bringing parents and carers into the kitchen to cook and share a feast together.

Here's a snapshot of the impact we're making, and below, a short video from our fajitas fiesta earlier this term 🥕.

How has CRuNCH changed the way you cook or eat at home?

Session 1 of Cook5 with CRuNCH at CLF Post 16 school - Fajitas Fiesta!

Momentum is building...

We're thrilled to say that this month we've received a significant amount of funding from three brilliant donors. A HUGE THANK YOU to:

Along with the generous financial support from Nisbets, the Nutrition Wellbeing Foundation, Fund Their Future and Emersons Green Town Council as well as our amazing individual donors, this means we can now fully focus on scaling the delivery of the Cook5 with CRuNCH programme.

Can you help us go further?

A donation to CRuNCH doesn’t just fund a session, it gives a young person skills, confidence and independence that last far beyond the classroom.

👉 Donate today and help us say yes to the next school on our waiting list (yes, we have a waiting list!)

Why it Matters

If we want healthier, happier generations, we can’t ignore food education. Cooking might not appear on exam papers, but it’s a test of independence and resilience that lasts a lifetime.

At CRuNCH, we’re on a mission to make cooking as valued as any school subject — because knowing how to feed yourself is just as important as knowing how to read or write.
